Invisible Form
Had I a name, still you wouldn't notice
Are we playing a game, then why the kiss?
Shouldn't it mean more?
Shouldn't it be something deeper?
You climb on me, but you don't see me
What's the point of saying it?
Why are you exhausting these promises?
They have no value to you
Why doesn't anything get through to you?
Am I just some invisible form
That helplessly finds itself at your door?
Used and abused, why don't I refuse your call?
I'm not the only girl you tell is your all
And if I know this, why don't I go?
Maybe because I have some hope there's more than I know
And you'll change to be the man you promised to be
Oh, your dishonesty is killing me
If I had fame, would you come closer?
Spend more time with me instead of with her?
How don't you feel guilt
Watching this flower wilt?
Your hands touching my skin, should I let you in?
Step back a moment and think
Stop trying to fool me with a kiss and a wink
Is this all just for pleasure?
Why do I feel you could suddenly leave forever?
Am I just a shadow following behind
Pressed against your hands but never in your mind?
I guess your whispers mean nothing then
It's not a romantic breeze, but an ice cold wind
And though you're this close, I feel you're far
I wish so much you were more than you are
So that when you'd hold me I wouldn't feel lonely
Don't you see me?
Your dishonesty is killing meOr am I just some invisible form
That helplessly finds itself at your door?
Used and abused, why don't I refuse your call?
I'm not the only girl you tell is your all
And if I know this, why don't I go?
Maybe because I have some hope there's more than I know
And you'll change to be the man you promised to be
Oh, your dishonesty is killing meAm I just some invisible form
